“Hey, Justin, I have something to tell you,” Layla said quickly as she rushed towards Justin.

“Where is Jack?” asked Justin.

“He is talking to your mom, so we have enough time to talk,” Layla said abruptly.

“I heard Ashley and Riley admit to killing my baby with Dorota’s help. They planned the whole thing,” Layla said in a devastated tone.

“Please believe me, Jack. I know it’s word of mouth, but you are all I got,” she pleaded to him.

“I believe you, Layla. I am sorry I didn’t see this sooner. They played well if not for me overhearing Riley yesterday talking to someone about it two days ago, who is probably Ashley, from what you are saying. It was hard to believe them, and also, I never thought my own sister could do something like this,” he said as he shook his head in disappointment.

“I understand, Justin,” she stared into his eyes. “He really was a flower in the midst of thorns,” she thought to herself.
