Chapter 10. A Shocking Discovery

Linda's POV

I knocked on the door lightly for a few more seconds before I finally reached in my uniform for the master key for the rooms I had been assigned to. 

It was not an actual key but a keycard though, but was somehow called a master key when it was given to me. 

I placed the object on the scanner and it made a small beep before signaling that the door was unlocked.

I then opened the door and stepped into the room. A weird smell was the first thing that greeted me. I scrunched up my nose as I rolled the mop bucket deeper into the place. The smell only got stronger the more I continued walking. 

My eyes then landed on the bed. Something was under the sheets and it resembled a human. 

“Hello?” I rang out, trying to wake the person if they were sleeping. This was Mitch’s room so if anyone was actually under there then it must have been him. But I wanted to be professional so I said again, “Sir?”
