Chapter 47. It Has To Be Tonight

Emma’s POV

Looking at the door in shock, I try to formulate a plan. I pace the floor of my bedroom trying to remember Alpha Duncan’s phone number. I can’t believe I was stupid enough to through away the piece of paper that he had written it on. This is exactly my luck. I recite what I think is the number over and over in my mind and I am sure that is the one that I need to dial. Now I just need to find a phone.

Pressing my fingers to my temple I try to think of anyone that I can trust that would let me use their phone. Several months ago the answer would have been Daniel. I could have trusted him with any secret but now there isn’t anyone in this pack that would keep a secret of Ethan. There has to be someone that I can trust.

And then it hits me like a ton of bricks. Emily. No one wants me gone more than her. She would definitely let me use her phone in secret if it meant that I was running away from Ethan and she can have him all to herself.
