Chapter 50. The Search

Ethan’s POV

I asked all of the guards that were stationed around the front of the Pack house and no one saw her leave. It can only mean that she left through the back door. Racing back through the Pack house I head straight for the back door and her scent is all over it, she was definitely here. Flinging the door open, a little too aggressively, it hits the wall behind it with a thud.

Racing into the backyard of the Pack house, I shift mid-stride into my massive black wolf. My clothes rip against my skin but I don’t care. I just know that I have to find Emma. I have to tell her how I feel about her before she leaves me for good. Sleeping with Emily was the biggest mistake of my life and I can only hope that Emma forgives me.

My great wolf lifts his nose to the air and searches for her scent. As soon as he catches a whiff of it he lets out a loud howl and runs in that direction. I watch through his eyes as we run. She was headed through the forest. But why? T
