Chapter 104

Damian’s fingers tightened on the wheel when the bike behind him closed the distance. Its headlight glared menacingly in the mirror, and he felt his heart jump.
“Not tonight,” he muttered under his breath as he pressed his foot on the gas, hoping to leave the rider behind.
The bike sped up too, and then out of nowhere, four more motorcycles swept out from a side street. Two slid in front of his car, with two came up on either side.
Damian’s heart thudded hard, and he gripped the steering wheel so tight his knuckles ached.
One of the riders on his left leaned close and knocked on the window with a gloved hand.. Damian hesitated but then pressed the button, letting the window slide down halfway.
“Follow the bikes in front if you want to live,” the man said flatly under his helmet.
Damian’s mouth went dry, and he nodded slowly with his eyes flicking between the road and the men around him.
