Myles POV

I looked at Knox, and he looked back at me. I could see we both had the same question in our eyes. Brothers of Steel? I had been around bikes and cuts most of my life, and I was not sure I had ever heard of that name. Knox shifted a little in his boots and gave a small shake of his head. I knew he hadn’t heard of them either.

Murphy spoke before I could.

“Who the fuck are the Brothers of Steel?” he frowned. “Never heard of you. What kind of bullshit name is that?”

Dez tilted his head like he was offended, and his mouth curled into a slow smirk.

“You don’t know us,” he said. “But you will because my club is rising fast, and soon we’ll throw down anyone who thinks they’re top dogs. The Brothers of Steel are going to be the most feared crew in this city.”

Murphy laughed like this was peak comedy.

“Most feared?” he said. “Buddy, I’ve been riding before you even got your first tricycle. You got balls talking like that.”
