Serena POV

“Oh my God, Serena! This.. this is huge!” Becca exclaimed when she heard about the upcoming wedding, my wedding, which was supposedly going to come up next weekend.

“You shouldn’t be this relaxed! There’s no time at all. We should have commenced preparations long ago! Just imagine the number of people who’ll be attending!”

I really didn’t think a lot of people would be attending, but Becca was clearly overreacting to the whole thing. I knew for sure that Myles’s family would be there and my own family too, but who else? Myles employees? I really didn’t know.

“But wait a minute..” Becca finally paused to peer into my face. “Why has this been announced suddenly and out of the blue?” She asked.

I wish I had an answer to that question.

“We just.. we just want to get it over with.” I lied.

“Ooh..” Becca smiled knowingly. “It’s beginning to feel like torture living far away from each other, right?”

I laughed uncertainly.
