Brenda’s Pov:

A few minutes later, he came back in.

“Where is everyone,” he asked.

“They had all gone,” I shrugged.

“Sorry for keeping you here all by yourself,” he apologized.

“Where is Mo?” I asked.

“Oh, he left too,” he replied, helping me from the bed.

I was tempted to ask what they discussed, but I knew better than to let my curiosity take the better of me. So I held back my question.
