Chapter 17
Mo’s Pov:
I saw Dominick off, and I could see worry written all over his face. His face was squeezed in a way that suggested he was thinking deeply about something.
“What worries you?” I asked him and he sighed.
“Just matters of the pack, Mo. Nothing more,” he replied.
“Hmm. Do you think you can make anything out of what Leah told you?”
“Well, that was very meager information there, but I must make do with it. I cannot just fold my hands and wait for the big news that will never come,” he said thoughtfully, and I thought the same too.
“That is true. But on a serious note, I think I should mix something for you to ease this stress. You really need it,” I tried to convince him. He rubbed his forehead gently.
“You always think I need those bitter drinks of yours, Mo,” he stated, and I laughed a little.
“If Mo thinks you need it, you do.” I boasted, shrugging.
“Yeah right. Well maybe one of these days I would have your drink,” he smi
