Brenda’s Pov:

I could not allow Dominic to find out the truth behind everything. That will put Mady and her friends in great danger. Even though they were not nice to me and had intentions to hurt me, I could see that they still would not have let me die. Especially Mady. She was prepared to risk her life than to watch me being taken away by those wolves.

So I tried to cover up, hoping Dominick would believe me, and thankfully he did. But one look at Jason, I knew he was not yet convinced and would still persuade me later to tell him what happened.

I was determined to maintain my stance and not expose them. I had never lied to Jason before…Oops, I have.

When he asked me if I had any suspicions about Dominic I denied it.

Okay, that makes it two. Two lies are not bad. Why am I even concerned about that?
