Chapter 33. Rafael Abraham

“What’s wrong, Rafael? Should I turn around and take you to a psychiatrist?” Hugo’s voice broke Rafael’s sweet reverie about the woman who had spent the night with him five days ago in a hotel he had booked for one day only.

“You’re interrupting my daydream!” complained Rafael as he looked back at the screen of his cell phone displaying the photo of the strange woman he had secretly taken when they had agreed to spend time at a hotel not far from the bar.

“Of course, it’s because you’re acting weird. What exactly were you looking at on your phone that you were smiling to yourself? You even let me drive around feeling bored because there was no one to talk to.”

A moment later Rafael gasped loudly as his cell phone was forcefully grabbed by Hugo so that his best friend could freely look at the photo of the woman he had made into his cell phone wallpaper.
