Chapter 37. Marry Me Again, Aleah
Aleah thought the craziest thing she’d ever done was run away on a weekday and take a flight to her home country to cool off for three days, but today she was doing something even crazier.
“Look, I didn’t come to see you now because I wanted to. It’s just that what you said earlier was really like a dying person about to make a will, so I just came to listen to the last words of a person whose life won’t last long,” said Aleah, who sat irritably in front of Samuel, who greeted her with a big smile.
“Did you think that far ahead? I said I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to see you again because I heard that you no longer live in this country,” she said, making a face without feeling guilty at all.
“You’re such an asshole,” Aleah sneered. She glared in annoyance and hurriedly grabbed the glass of iced americano in front of her without asking who it belonged to. “Hurry up and tell me what you want to talk to me about. I don’t have much time.”
