Clary felt her heart flutter and her face warmed up. She liked that Levi was worried about her, she liked that he actually cared about her. For a long time, no one did until he and Ace came along. 

She smiled warmly and stared into his ocean-blue eyes. She saw that they were a bit bloodshot, which showed that he wanted to cry, or was still tired and had not slept well. 

But she chose to believe that he wanted to cry because he did not want her to leave. 

“I will be fine, I literally have the Moon goddess on my side. I automatically win,” Clary said, but a part of her was scared as crap. 

Levi stared at Clary for a few seconds and tried his best to suppress his urge to kiss her. He won over his urge and smiled sadly. “Then sure, let me leave you to get ready then.”
