Chapter 103

Clary could barely breathe as she stared into the cold eyes of Star. She had never felt so much fear in her life, it was not normal. She tried to look away from the hybrid but could not, it was like she had no control over her own body. 

The air was stiff and she could hear the light roar of thunder coming from the sky. 

“Clary Astoria…” Star began. He stayed his distance away from the omega even though he walked close to her every few seconds as he paced slowly. “That’s your name, right?” He chuckled. 

Clary swallowed and her urge to cry grew with each passing second. “Wh-what do you want?” She tried to sound brave, and in her opinion, she did sound brave.

Star scoffed and then laughed deeply. “You know that I can smell your fear, right?” He stood still and folded his arms on his chest. “You’re drowning in fear, dear. You’re terrified,” He said the last word in a breathy way.
