“We need to do something,” Ashton suggests strongly, but Billy shakes his head to show his disapproval.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea. I know where the cry for help is coming from and trust me, we do not want to mess with those folks,” He replies to Ashton. Who is he talking about?
“Run, Lara, Run,” I hear the faint voice of my wolf. This must be the true reason why my wolf led me here. Something is wrong and we have to get to the bottom of it.
“I don’t care if the folks you are talking about are literal vampires, I’m not going to just sit back when someone is clearly in danger,” I say firmly to Billy and he sighs. I look at Ashton and he backs me up by nodding.
“Okay,” Billy sighs shakily and then begins to lead us away from his family’s cabin. “But this is not a good idea.”
