Chapter 74

Clary felt a warm feeling filled her chest, she liked that Levi was standing up for her but the fact remained that she was an introvert and it made her feel a bit embarrassed that the Alpha was talking to the doctor in that tone. 

“Uh, of course, sir,” Doctor Josiah replied, his voice shaking a bit at the end. “I’m sorry if I seemed rude, I apologize, sir.” 

Levi nodded firmly and then after a few seconds, he sighed. “Look,” He began, holding his hips. “I did not mean to raise my voice, it’s just that a hospital with this reputation should not be transferring patients.” 

Doctor Josiah nodded in agreement. “You’re absolutely right.” And he knew that this was true but he was more concerned about the stellar reputation of his hospital. “But it’s complicated.”

The hospital was one of the best and one of the reasons was that no one that had been there had ever died or not gotten well. This was the flex that this hospital had.
