I kept on sleeping until I overheard Gena’s voice; her voice was literally echoing through my ears. I had to put off her cords from hitting straight to my ears by using my hands to breeze her voice away, only to have it hit someone’s face. I looked back, and Gena’s hand was busy caressing her left cheek.

“What the fuck, Elisabeth? Do you want to injure me?” She kept that same hand, her left hand, on her cheek and caressed it.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t see you,” I put my feet on the ground, the tilted floor. “Besides, Gena, who gave you the bright idea to whisper straight to my ears when I was sleeping?” I said, taking up my pillow back to my bed.
