Isabella’s POV
I paced back and forth in my hotel room, my heels clicking against the polished floor.
My mind was in complete chaos, thoughts rushing through my head so fast that I could barely keep up.
I bit my lower lip, frustration bubbling inside me like a volcano ready to explode.
The little boy.
Where had I seen him before?
I wasn’t the type to forget faces…especially not one as familiar as his. But no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn’t place it.
His curly hair, his bright, curious eyes… something about him was tugging at the back of my mind, as if my brain was trying to unlock a memory just out of reach.
I let out a sharp breath, forcing myself to stop pacing.
"Think, Isabella. Think."
I shut my eyes, inhaling deeply, trying to calm the storm raging inside me. If I kept letting frustration take over, I’d never figure it out. I needed to focus.
So I stood still, gripping
