She turned her gaze from the books littered on the floor, and to the black mage who was already staring at her. The look he gave her was one one fraught with wariness. 

If this situation wasn't so weird, she would have belted out a laugh, but even at that, the joke would have been on her. She put up her hand, more to ground herself than to emphasize her words. "You need to give me some more explanations because this is difficult for me to wrap my head around."
