Chapter 32
Eleanor's POV
For the past two hours after Derek left me in the room, I couldn't stay calm. I performed so many moves at the field to take my mind off whatever had happened between us before he left.
I couldn't help wondering if he is okay. I felt the extensity of his anger but there was nothing I could do to help.
I sat tiredly at one corner of the field, sincerely hoping that all was well.
*After what seemed like eternity, I stood up to take a stroll along every pathway that has a particular lead around the palace.
I sighted an unfamiliar pathway not far from the field and I decided to take a look. I went in and I couldn't hold in my excitement when I saw how clear the path was. Slightly brown and extremely silent, my dream way of having a relaxing stroll.
The stroll suddenly reminded me of someone. I could have been long dead if it weren't for her. She could have lived longer if it weren't for my greediness for freedom.
I dabbed at my tea
