Chapter 53
Sitting on the chair in my office, going through a report that had just been submitted to me. I fixed my gaze on every detail on the paper, but I was unable to concentrate because a lot was going through my mind. I gripped the edge of the paper firmly and tightly, causing it to squeeze. I stood up from my chair and walked towards the window with the paper in hand.
I stood beside the window in my office trying to concentrate on the paper I was holding. I felt rage coursing through my body. My heart raced faster as I pressed my lips against each other. I clenched my teeth out of frustration as I could feel droplets of sweat on my forehead. I was unable to concentrate as thoughts about Eleanor, her death and the person responsible for her death filled my heart.
I threw away the paper I was holding as well as the pen angrily and yelled as I did that. I paced around the office angrily, as I could not get my mind off Eleanor. Only if Derek had not involv
