Chapter 59

Araceli's POV

I arrived at the pack house at once after the alpha had summoned me. What could he be calling me for? I wondered. 

I walked into the pack house and met him pacing around the living room. His eyes burned with rage. I could sense he was angry and frustrated. I bowed to greet him as I approached him, and he only gestured for me to sit.

I sat down slowly, still wondering why he had summoned me. I leaned forward, placing my arms on my knees anticipating what the alpha was about to say. He cleared his throat before finally talking.

“Several months ago, a guard told me he found Eleanor and that she was still alive,” he said slowly as he exhaled heavily. My eyes went wide open and my jaw dropped in awe as I heard what the alpha had just said.

“Eleanor…?” I asked, still trying to believe what the alpha had just said. How could Eleanor be alive? We all thought she was dead. I pondered. I exhaled slowly as I rubbed my face with my palm.
