Chapter 35. Wedding Date

Pain, anger, hatred, rage, pity, that was all I had felt for the past few weeks. It had been two weeks since I watched the life drained from Felix's eyes. Nothing seemed to make sense anymore, I became numb soon after the event and unresponsive.

Lucas had taken me home that day and left me here in the villa, while he returned to his mansion. Two weeks went by and I have been quiet and have hardly spoken a word. I went to work and returned without seeing Daminen's face for two weeks.

I avoided him like a poison, and I asked Leo to give me an office on the ground floor, which he accepted. I could have quit the job but I knew I had to gather as much money from them, with my hard work in case something were to happen.
