Chapter 41. I Don’t Owe You Any Truth
Nyla’s POV
I looked into Jason’s hooded blue eyes, it seemed I could see through his soul, full of loss and loneliness.
He has been played like a ball by his own family hiding a delicate truth from him. Sometimes I can’t picture what it feels like everyone lying to your face while Jenny still uses the same thing against him. I feel so bad for him but somehow I felt he actually desired it.
The crisp air was awkward silence especially after I declared Felix to be Damien’s pup. I didn’t want to see the eyes of Jenny or Damian which were filled with so many questions.
