Chapter 22

Mist's POV

I heard the door creak open, so I dropped to the floor as I was crying, crawled under the bed, and stayed there.

I don’t know what the hell is wrong with me; I feel like emotions are driving me crazy, I thought.

“Mist?” I could see her feet as I walked around the house until I saw her face watching me with a sweet smile. “What are you doing there?” he asked, holding out his hand to help me out; I denied it.

He threatened to move the bed aside to get me out if I didn’t come out willingly, so I did with a little help from him. I got between the sheets quickly, asking him to leave as he was fine, but he sat on the bed looking at his hands.
