Chapter 8
He smiled and gestured for me to sit down at the table and I silently obeyed, though my eyes never leaving the floor. Within a couple of minutes, a plate of heart-shaped pancakes landed on the table, which was followed by another plate with two heart-shaped pieces of toast on which were two fried eggs and a trace of bacon forming a smile and then a steaming cup of coffee. It was exactly my favorite breakfast.
“How did you know I like all that stuff like that?” I muttered with a thread of a voice as I understood absolutely nothing. I looked up at him, he was wiping flour off his face with a cloth, even though he was just putting on more flour. I let out a laugh causing him to frown, I grabbed a clean cloth as I stood up.
“Will you let me do it?” I asked shyly, pointing to the cloth.
