Elara’s POV
My chest burned at the realization, and every breath I took felt like a blade cutting through my lungs. Rage roared in my blood as I stared at him, my voice breaking. “You killed them. My family. You killed them all.”
Magnus’s expression faltered, his arrogance cracking just enough for a bit of remorse to flicker through his face. His jaw tightened, and his crimson eyes dimmed.
“I didn’t kill your mother and brother,” he said, his voice low and measured.
“LIAR!!!” I roared.
“Elara, please listen to me, I can explain everything that happened that night,” Magnus said as he took a step towards me, lifting his hand to touch me.
“No! Don’t come close to me, you twisted bastard. You killed my whole family, and I saw you that night. You were there fifteen years ago, am I right?”
