Chapter 47. Hot Daddy Next Door
SASHA’S POV
I slammed the door as hard as I could. Let Uncle Vincent know I’m seriously pissed at him. So annoying!
Why didn’t he say he lives next door? Doesn’t he get how I was struggling to dig out my keycard from my purse while carrying Noah—who’s heavy as a sack of potatoes? My back is killing me.
Ugh!
And what’s even shadier—how is it that convenient he’s my neighbor? Huh? He says he’s not following me? It’s way too weird to be a coincidence.
Huff!
I laid Noah on his bed and tucked him in with a light blanket after turning on the AC. I stared at my son’s face. Now I can see traces of Uncle Vincent in him. Their eyebrows and noses are so similar. As a toddler, Noah looked more like my dad. How long do kids’ faces keep changing? Who will he end up looking like? If he takes after Dad, he’ll be handsome. If he’s like Uncle Vincent… ugh, my face heated up just thinking about that guy’s face.
“Argh! What’s wrong with me?”
