SASHA’S POV
“It’s way too late!” I stormed into the living room and slammed the papers he’d handed me onto the table. “What do you think I am, some wide-eyed freshman? I was eighteen when we screwed everything up,” I snapped, switching to Italian so Noah wouldn’t understand.
“Sha, it’s been a while, but it’s not too late,” Uncle Vincent said gently.
“I dropped out years ago, Uncle,” I shot back, glancing at Noah and Leo. “I’m being realistic. The kids are healthy—that’s all that matters. I don’t have time for big dreams. Dreams are for kids. My job now is to help them chase theirs.”
