Mateo’s POV

“I’m sorry,” I said to the woman in front of me. After I explained to her everything she needed to know, I knew she would be depressed, but it was better that I couldn’t fight these feelings that I had for Chantal. They were too strong for me to handle, especially when I couldn’t see her or she didn’t acknowledge me.

“Is this what you want?” Phoebe said, and she was kissing me. I liked what she did because I knew she didn’t like it. She didn’t like intimacy without a proper marriage, but I was different. I was looking for a taste and finally found someone. She started kissing me recklessly, and at some point, I was returning it until I pulled her away from me, and I was extremely exhausted.
