Chapter 17. Desire
Andrew held the metal railings that formed the steps leading to the top of the yacht.
Usually, he kept his meeting with Harris and Kathie outside the family spaces to a minimum of two visits per year. Family spaces meaning the oval room, grandma’s dinners or wherever their grandparents wanted them to assemble. Then he was forced to interact with them.
Like at this point, some documents needed to be signed for the acquisition of Kathie’s new boutique. The woman was a headache. A business disaster like he’d never seen before who thought it was a good idea to sell branded items near an actual brand shop.
If not that they shared the same last name and she actually looked like a Swernbach, Andrew would have branded her an imposter long ago. She had no business sense and was as irresponsible as Melvin. A terrible combination but she was much better than her younger twin brother, Harris.
