Chapter 20. Hot Rocks and Illusion

Annette knocked on the door and opened it, poking her head in a little. “The representative from ROI Penn is here.”

“Great, let her in in a minute.” Andrew sat up.

He shut the document he was working on and straightened his tie. This was a stupid decision. Either Melvin was being incredibly stupid or he had found a way to siphon money through Elaine’s business.

He stared at the door, remembering how she’d walked into him. If only they’d been more attentive, they would never have crossed each other’s paths. She hadn’t even known what he looked like and now, she knew his whole family.
