Chapter 21. CEO’s Bad Temper
The rest of the week went past with a blur. Andrew had never felt such discontent with work before. Nothing seemed to be going right and for some reason, he felt like he was missing something. He stepped out of the elevator and into the CEO office space. Annette sat behind her desk, typing.
“Good morning, sir,” she gave him a nervous smile.
“Why haven’t you sent me the mails from Charleston?”
“I’ve been working on-”
“And I want all my meetings for tomorrow rescheduled for the first half of the day.”
“But-”
Andrew’s eyes drew to slits. “I don’t pay you to make excuses.”
“I am not making excuses. You’ve changed your schedule several times in the past week. It’s getting hard to keep up with all these things, and I honestly think you’re overworking yourself.”
Andrew scoffed. “I wouldn’t have to if certain people did their jobs properly.”
