Chapter 171. VIP Eavesdropping

Elaine hurried into the restaurant where Annette had informed her that Melvin was. She had been troubled by Andrew’s words and Sharon’s insistence that she might have missed something Andrew said on the day he proposed caused her to walk back out of the cafe to confront him. He wasn’t there but the papers she had thrown at him were still on the floor.

She picked the papers and as she did, her eyes scanned the content. Even though she didn’t want to read it, she found herself scanning it. The whole thing was out of order but from the little she could pick up, Andrew had gone to great lengths to implicate his brother.

After that, she had come all the way here to tell Melvin what she had found and demand that he clear up the things that didn’t make sense. How had he known she was a Farnsworth?

“Welcome to the Five Oysters. Do you have a reservation?” the host asked.

“Eh. No but, I’m here to see my fiancé. Melvin Swernbach.” She looked around the restaurant tryin
