Chapter 170. A Brothers’ Deal

The only reason Melvin agreed to see Andrew was to satisfy his humor. Never, in all the times he had schemed and plotted had he imagined that he would get things so good. The look of betrayal and utter confusion on his brother’s face as he was kicked out of the Farnsworth estate was more than enough satisfaction but he wanted more.

The moment the curtains to the private seating room in the restaurant were opened, he smiled as he poured out a glass of champagne for himself.

“Andrew, Andrew, Andrew. How many times did I call you?”

His brother frowned, taking a seat opposite him.

“You know what’s great about all this, we’re right back where we started. Except of course, we’re not seated in the main seating floor. Champagne?”

This was the same restaurant where he had met Elaine. He had come here after his conversation with Gwen hoping that he could talk to Andrew about his predicament and come up with a solution. But Andrew’s disregard had irritated him.
