Chapter 27. Get Dressed
The driver stopped the car behind the building, and Andrew stared at the gold watch on his hand. 4:37 p.m. He was late.
He could give the excuse that he had arrived later so she would have enough time to do her makeup and whatever else kept women later than they needed to be, but he knew he should have left the office earlier. He just didn’t trust Ryan, Annette’s assistant, to sort through the letters from Charleston properly. Now, Elaine would have a reason to accuse him of coming late.
“Should I get her boss?” his bodyguard, Michael, asked.
“No.” Andrew unbuckled his seat belt and stepped out of the car.
He surveyed the building with his eyes. It was a dusty yellow colored building. On its left side was a row of shops ending at the other building adjacent to this one where the road joined the car park.
