Chapter 24
He picked up a chair and angrily threw it towards the glass window. A loud crash was heard as the chair smashed through it. The moonlight streamed in from the now damaged window and illuminated the hall.
"So I can't trust either of you to lead an assault in my absence?" He continued, his breathing becoming rapid.
Felix winced at the sound of his voice, but Dahlia folded her arms, unperturbed.
"Was there at least some casualty in the enemy troops?" Dominic queried,his voice a bit low.
"No." Felix replied hesitantly, averting his eyes.
Dominic's nose flared in anger. He switched his gaze to Dahlia.
"You!" He cried out. " I send you on one simple task and you fail me. One simple task! I should have have known this would turn out to be a very costly mistake. How do I believe that no werewolf was even harmed and I lost seventy vampires?!"
