Chapter 26

Crickets chirped and frogs croaked in the woods. The crescent moon shone in the sky surrounded by tiny stars. It's rays beautified the woods,giving it a nearly glamorous scenery.

On a log facing a clear lake, sat Kyle and Tina. Their shoulders touched as they talked and laughed. The cold breeze warranted a change of attire and Kyle wore a thick white sweater and dark jeans. Tina wore a pink hoody over grey sweatpants.

Kyle picked up a pebble and tossed it into the lake. It skipped severally. Tina clapped and picked up a pebble herself. She stood up and walked a bit towards the lake in an attempt to copy his action but the pebble just landed into the lake with a pitiful splash, eliciting a pout from her. Kyle's laughter soothed her a bit.

"Don't worry. It takes practice." He said.
