Waking up to Emily’s little body on his, every naked inch of her wrapped snugly around him, not even the anxiety of what Aaron was going to do about his impending engagement could ruin the perfect happiness he felt as he waited for her to wake up. The smile she gave him when at last she did was bashful, but true. It hadn’t been a mistake for her after all. He should have told her, damn him to hell for never telling her. He should tell her now. It had waited long enough.
