Chapter 15. A Spat with Her Brothers

Aurora blushed to the roots of her hair while Daxton looked away, closing his eyes. It was the most beautiful sight he'd ever seen in his life. A mother's love was so unique, so touching. Even though she was struggling with her health, Aurora still could hear Leo's cry of hunger in her sleep. She still woke up and catered to him first. Aurora's selfless gesture touched his heart. It was a new side to her he had seen tonight. Of course, there was that creamy organ he'd seen which would give him sleepless nights and torture him for days, for sure.

Aurora quickly closed the buttons on her top and placed a sleeping Leo back in his crib. She thought that Daxton might have been in a drowsy state when he saw her because he went to sleep immediately and hadn't moved since then. Without a word, she went off to sleep. Thankfully, Leo didn't wake up again in the night.
