Chapter 18. Melodrama at Her Brothers House

Daxton and Leo played together while Aurora made dinner. He had brought her his laptop, and she was ecstatic. Although he didn't tell her explicitly how he wanted her to thank him for it, she knew what he wanted. Dinner was ready, and they had just finished eating it when Daxton's phone buzzed with an incoming call from Brandon.

"Hey, bro, are you free?" asked Brandon.

"Yeah, any problems? Do you want me to come over?" asked Daxton, worriedly.

"Yeah, as soon as possible," said Brandon. After he disconnected the phone, Daxton turned towards Aurora.

"I need to see what he wants. Don't wait up for me. I'll come over tomorrow morning. Okay?" Aurora nodded, feeling relieved that he wouldn't be sleeping with her.

Daxton went to Brandon's house, but he could clearly hear the yelling and shouting that was happening at Aurora's house. He went inside and found Brandon in his room, peering through the curtains.
