Chapter 24. Nate Realizes His Feelings for Her

The police arrested Robbie Stanford and his goons, but with Greg furious at her, Claire was apprehensive about what he would do next. His goons had damaged the shop, and she needed a lot of money for its repair. The glass food displays were all smashed, and so was her billing computer. Marina and her daughter resigned citing trouble and so did the others. Rosetta was the only one who stuck with Claire. With no money to repair the shop, Claire had no other option but to close it down. Nate had submitted all the proof Greg Stanford had handed her to the police, and a full-fledged investigation was being conducted. 

It was under such strenuous circumstances that Drake and Alexis announced their upcoming wedding.
