Chapter 30. Melting towards Nate
Nate wasn’t much shocked at the realization. Maybe he knew in his heart how much he loved her. He was just in denial for so long. He took a deep breath and thought of his next step. It wasn’t a simple task to convince Claire. She was adamant about her fake relationship, about her bakery. Nate didn’t have a chance so far. He released a staggering breath. He could give his best and leave the rest to fate. You cannot force someone to stay with you. If she didn’t love him back, it was his misfortune, actually.
He walked out of his room and saw his whole family playing a game of scavenger hunt organized by the staff. With Claire participating in the game excitedly, he too plunged in. Afterward, they played a game of mini golf before retiring to their rooms to shower and get ready for lunch. Drake whisked his bride away to his room while Andrea stayed back with Annalise and Victoria, helping them with the kids. Claire, too, hung around them, but Nate wanted a moment alone
