Chapter 29. Can Do Anything for You

“Holding onto what’s mine,” he stated, crushing her to his warm body under the duvet. Although Claire felt a strange sense of comfort in his arms a moan of pleasure escaped her mouth. “See how your body knows who it belongs to,” he whispered into her ear, his mouth lingering on the skin, making a tremor run down her body.

“Nate, we are in a fake relationship, in case you’ve forgotten. Please sleep on your side like you always do,” she told him.

“No, I’m tired of restraining myself. Not anymore. You play your game while I’ll play mine till you give in and agree to be mine,” he said in a hoarse whisper. Claire rolled her eyes at his words, but deep in her heart, she loved the comfort he provided. She snuggled deeper into him, inhaling his manly scent as she closed her eyes.
