Chapter 31. HellGuard

Caroline's POV

They seemed taken aback but said nothing for a while before one of them finally broke the silence. "I want to know where you're taking us to," someone spoke.

I look at them for a moment. "We'll be going to HellGuard right now, so we have to start moving." I replied.

"HellGuard? But we don't know anybody there, and why would you want to take us there when we don't even know if it's safe?" Another person asked again.

"You can rest assured that you can trust me. Nothing will happen and you'll be safe. Just come with me," I turned to look at Lauwren. "We should start heading back, but first all of you must take the potion… That's the only way you all can be free and understand the gravity of the matter. I want your absolute trust for this to work," I said and gave her a sign to give them the potion.

They quickly started drinking. Their eyes widened after
