I couldn’t believe what had just happened. My pack, the Black Bird Wolves, had been attacked by the Moon Chaser pack, caught completely off guard, and the losses we’d suffered were heavier than anything we’d faced in years.

As Alpha, I couldn’t let this slide. I needed to know why they’d struck us, and I needed to answer it in kind.
