Miranda’s POV
It was a long journey, trying to get him to regain his memory.
“He must have suffered a traumatic experience which he has blotted out of his mind psychologically, because he doesn’t want it to exist,” Dr. Merrick said. “His fall didn’t help matters as well.”
I found that I liked this stranger and the feeling grew with each passing moment I spent with him.
I named him Clive since he couldn’t remember his name and took him everywhere to help him regain his memory. It was a slap that he didn’t feel attracted to me like I was to him. But I didn’t lose hope. He asked for time and I was ready to give it to him.
