Iris’s POV

I received orange flowers the next day. I had kept out of his way all through the day after that episode in his bathroom. I needed to get my emotions in control.

“I desire you greatly,” the note that came with the orange roses read. “I find it exceedingly hard controlling myself around you. You are the only one that makes me lose my cool. It is scary but exciting as well!”

During our meal, I could not help but steal glances at him. Had he planned the event yesterday? I wondered. But how could he? He couldn’t have known I was going to come into the bathroom without notice and he had been as shocked as I was when I saw him.
