Chapter 95
Anita’s POV
“Oh yeah, that was definitely unexpected,” I thought to myself while I locked the door to my room after being caught in the garden by Isaac.
I rushed to my bed, and my window was still open. Lucky enough, there weren’t mosquitoes around—none had I seen.
I looked out my window, and staring back at me was Isaac.
“I hope you have a good night’s rest, ma’am,” he almost whispered, but I could hear him anyway.
Sound travels faster at night.
I waved back at him, and he walked away.
How was the little time at the garden? Oh, it was fun!
But quite vulnerable.
Regardless, I learned something new—their gardens were filled with flowers that each and every one of them liked before they died.
It was beautiful and the most considerate thing ever.
I undressed and put on a nightgown—a very light one at that.
