Chapter 34. Drill Master

It was a sunny day for another drill. Rachel and Ezekiel hadn’t had a proper talk yet.

He headed straight to Mrs. Littlewick for the drills and didn’t even glance at the drill master. Everyone can’t notice the cold air between the two of them, but Michelle, Rachel’s best friend, nudged her at the side, nodding at Ezekiel’s direction.

“What happened? He seemed nonchalant upon seeing you.”

Rachel drew attention to anything but Ezekiel, but Michelle was breaking off the ice.
